ALDI Thanksgiving Meal Deal 2026: Feed 10 People for Under $39

Hosting Thanksgiving dinner doesn't have to mean spending well over $100 at the grocery store.

ALDI has officially announced its 2026 Thanksgiving meal deal, offering enough ingredients to prepare a classic holiday dinner for 10 people for under $39 — less than $4 per person.

The shopping list includes a 16-pound whole turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, Hawaiian-style rolls, cranberries, vegetables and everything needed for pumpkin pie. Better yet, there’s no coupon to clip, no loyalty account to join, no membership fee and no minimum purchase requirement.

The promotion runs from October 14 through November 25, 2026, although several key ingredients arrive later in the season.

ALDI says the basket was constructed around the same core Thanksgiving foods tracked by the American Farm Bureau Federation's annual Thanksgiving Dinner Cost Survey, rather than using an unusually stripped-down menu simply to advertise a low headline price.

The turkey is the centerpiece of the meal. One important timing detail: ALDI says the Farmer's Choice turkey included in its price calculation will become available beginning November 4, so shoppers visiting in October won't necessarily be able to purchase every component of the meal immediately.

• 3 boxes of assorted stuffing

• 3 pounds of sweet potatoes

• 1 package of Hawaiian sweet rolls

• Fresh cranberries

• Steamable frozen peas

• Baby peeled carrots

• Celery

The carrots and celery can be used as a simple vegetable tray, while the remaining items cover several of the sides many families expect on a traditional Thanksgiving table.

Pumpkin Pie

Dessert is included in the calculation, too.

The shopping list provides:

• Pumpkin pie mix

• Pie crusts

• Heavy whipping cream

• Whole milk

That gives shoppers the basic ingredients needed to prepare pumpkin pie and whipped cream rather than requiring a separate dessert purchase.

There's One Important Catch: Not Everything Is Available on October 14

Although ALDI advertises the promotion as running October 14 through November 25, the complete basket cannot necessarily be purchased on day one.

ALDI lists three important product availability dates:

October 26: Fresh cranberries become available.
November 4: Farmer's Choice whole turkey becomes available.
November 11: Pumpkin pie mix becomes available.

Prices for those products are scheduled to remain effective through November 25. Prices for the remaining Thanksgiving meal ingredients are effective from October 14 through November 25.

So, if you want to buy the entire advertised Thanksgiving meal in one trip, waiting until November 11 or later makes more sense based on ALDI's published availability schedule.

How to Find the Thanksgiving Items at ALDI

ALDI is trying to make the promotion easier to shop than a typical collection of weekly-sale items.

From October 14 through November 25, qualifying products are marked with a turkey logo on ALDI store shelves. Instead of searching through an ad and matching individual coupons, shoppers can look for that symbol while working through the Thanksgiving list. 

There's also a new online option for 2026.

ALDI allows shoppers to add the Thanksgiving shopping list to their online cart with one click, then customize the order before choosing pickup or delivery.

The online page also lets shoppers add extras beyond the basic $39 menu — useful if you want mashed potatoes, gravy, appetizers, an additional dessert or other family favorites. 

Does the Under-$39 Price Work for Delivery?

ALDI says the Thanksgiving meal pricing is also available through delivery partners including DoorDash, Instacart and Uber Eats.

There is an important distinction, however: delivery and service fees can still be added.

That means an online delivery order may cost more than $39 once applicable fees are included, even when the underlying qualifying groceries themselves fall within ALDI's advertised meal price. Product substitutions and location-specific prices can also affect the total.

For shoppers focused strictly on getting as close as possible to the advertised price, buying the qualifying ingredients in-store may therefore be the simplest option.

It's Actually Cheaper Than ALDI's 2025 Thanksgiving Deal

This isn't ALDI's first attempt at a budget Thanksgiving basket.

USA Today notes that ALDI offered a roughly $40 Thanksgiving meal in 2025. The 2026 version comes in at under $39, making the advertised basket slightly cheaper this year.

That difference may look small, but there's another notable change: this year's meal centers on a 16-pound turkey.

The comparison is especially interesting because grocery prices remain a major concern for families planning holiday meals. Instead of requiring shoppers to combine manufacturer coupons, store rewards and limited digital offers, ALDI is positioning its price as something shoppers can access directly.

ALDI CEO Atty McGrath summarized the approach by saying Thanksgiving shouldn't require "a calculator or a coupon strategy."

How Does ALDI Get to the "Feeds 10" Number?

The "feeds 10" claim isn't simply ALDI estimating how many people might eat a 16-pound turkey.

The company says its calculations are based on the American Farm Bureau Federation's core Thanksgiving meal benchmark, which has long tracked the cost of preparing a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people.

ALDI also says that over the last five years, its shoppers have saved an average of 26% on a classic Thanksgiving meal compared with the national averages reported by the Farm Bureau. That figure is ALDI's own comparison using the Farm Bureau benchmark, rather than an independent guarantee of what every individual shopper will save.

How to Get the ALDI Thanksgiving Meal

There's no promo code to remember and no special reward to claim.

The easiest approach is:

• Visit an ALDI store between October 14 and November 25.

• Look for Thanksgiving ingredients marked with the turkey logo.

• Use ALDI's suggested Thanksgiving shopping list.

• Add the qualifying ingredients to your cart.

• Purchase normally at checkout.

If you want every item in the advertised basket at the same time, shop November 11–25, when the turkey, cranberries and pumpkin pie mix are all scheduled to be available.

Alternatively, use ALDI’s online Thanksgiving page to add the suggested products to your cart and select curbside pickup or delivery where available.

Is This a Pre-Packaged $39 Thanksgiving Box?

No — and this is an important point when sharing the deal.

ALDI is not selling one physical "Thanksgiving Dinner for $39" box.

Instead, the retailer has created a suggested list of individual grocery products that together total under $39 based on the promotion's pricing assumptions.

That also gives shoppers more flexibility. You can use the suggested list as-is or customize your Thanksgiving menu by adding or removing products.

ALDI specifically notes that the actual total can vary depending on location, available products and the selections shoppers make.

ALDI Isn't the Only Grocer Competing on Thanksgiving Prices

ALDI's announcement arrives as grocery chains begin competing aggressively for Thanksgiving shoppers.

For comparison, Lidl announced a $35.86 Thanksgiving basket serving up to 10 people, available November 11–25. Unlike ALDI's offer, Lidl’s advertised price is tied to Lidl Plus membership. Progressive Grocer reports that Lidl is also introducing a Thanksgiving price-match promise against comparable baskets at ALDI and Walmart. 

That makes ALDI's lack of a membership requirement one of the more notable aspects of its promotion: shoppers don't need to create a loyalty account or activate a digital coupon to access the advertised prices.

The promotion runs October 14 through November 25, 2026, with no coupon, loyalty card, minimum purchase or paid membership required. Just remember that the full ingredient list isn't scheduled to be available simultaneously until November 11.
