RUNS ON 240V UTILITY POWER AT JUST 50W AND 0.21A FROM THE N1/N2 CIRCUIT: Draws power directly from the utility line through the transfer switch control circuit — it does not draw from or drain the generator's starter battery
BUILT-IN THERMOSTAT RUNS AUTOMATICALLY YEAR-ROUND WITHOUT MANUAL UNPLUGGING: Heater self-regulates based on ambient temperature and only operates on utility power — it is inactive while the generator is running during an outage
THIS KIT HEATS THE OIL FILTER ONLY — BATTERY WARMER (MODEL 7101) IS SOLD SEPARATELY: The 7102 protects crankcase oil viscosity; the 7101 protects the starter battery; both are recommended for climates that regularly drop below freezing
5W-30 FULL SYNTHETIC OIL IS REQUIRED WHEN THIS KIT IS INSTALLED — NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR IT: Synthetic oil alone does not provide sufficient cold-start protection below freezing; the 7102 heater and 5W-30 synthetic oil work together as a system
